2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes |
The course is the main introductory course to the concepts and the processes that take place in the atmosphere. The course aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of meteorological parameters and their impact on the analysis of environmental processes and problems. The course introduces students to vertical processes in the atmosphere as well as to the analysis of environmental data for the evaluation of energy and environmental systems and services. It also refers to introductory concepts about climate and climate change. The course is the basis on which specific methodologies and techniques of process analysis in the atmosphere are developed and can be used in other courses for the following semesters. Finally, the aim of the course is for students to understand the importance of evaluation of meteorological measurements in energy and environmental challenges. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
