2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes |
1) The aim of the courses ENVIRONMENTAL LAW I & ENVIRONMENTAL LAW II-INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC WORKS LAW (3rd and 9th semester, respectively) is to provide students with the basic understanding, principles, tools, institutions and procedures of environmental law (international, EU and domestic) using case-studies and focusing on implementation issues of domestic environmental law. Additionally, the aim of the course ENVIRONMENTAL LAW II-INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC WORKS LAW is to provide students with the basic understanding, principles and procedures of awarding public works execution. More specifically, the course ENVIRONMENTAL LAW I of 3rd semester will provide students with the basic background of International and European environmental law, in order to familiarize them with these particular branches of law and in order to understand the significant impact of these branches on domestic environmental legal issues. Specific attention is given to the interdisciplinary character of environmental law as well as its dependence on technology. 2) Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
