2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes |
The course provides undergraduate students integrative expertise in the management and design of energy systems. The course is based on the knowledge of previous semester courses and enables students to develop further knowledge in the analysis and synthesis of energy systems. The course introduces students to the energy needs of heating and cooling ventilation and lighting and then analyses innovative energy production and saving technologies. Finally, the aim of the course is to understand the importance of the evaluation of the energy systems’ performance, the energy systems’ sizing and design as well as their successful integration in the built environment. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:
