  • The relationship between material and intellectual civilization: contradiction and unity.
  • Types of civilization and modes of production.
  • History of civilization: Antiquity, Middle Ages, Renaissance and transition to modernity.
  • Theoretical Approaches: Sociology, Philosophy, Social Anthropology.
  • Modernity and Post-Modernity.
  • 21st Century Culture: 4th Industrial Revolution, “immaterial” labour and civilization.
