Panagiotis Sarris is the Business Development Manager for Sarris Energy, with 20 years of experience as an Engineer, the last 14 being on the fields of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation. He graduated university in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and then moved on to a Master’s Degree in Building Services Engineering from Heriot-Watt University. He started of his career in EADS in 2002 as a Systems Engineer in the sector of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) designing various parts and systems and in 2007 came to lead the unmanned sea vehicle department (USVs). Since 2008 he was involved in several public and private energy projects and gained a wide range of experience until 2012 when he founded Sarris Energy. Together with serving the noble cause of having a substantial measurable impact in environment sustainability, the purpose of the company is to innovate and promote the latest technological advancements in renewable energy and energy efficiency. The mission is to provide world-class products and services, and to benefit and improve the quality of life of as many people as possible. To that extent, Sarris Energy has completed hundreds of significant projects, both locally and nationally, and has managed to steadily grow its workforce to 25 people today.
