Research Interests

  Current research interests focus on the following topics:

  • Anaerobic digestion process
  • Wastewater treatment using non-conventional wastewater treatment systems (membrane bioreactor, constructed wetlands)
  • Utilization of microalgae and fungi for wastewater treatment and the production of bio-based materials
  • Composting process
  • Use of purple bacteria for the production of single-cell protein and biofertilizers
