You are welcome to attend the lecture «Data analysis in atmospheric and climate data» by Dr. Eirini Boleti, postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Atmospheric Environment and Climate Change, School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete.

Abstract

The presentation is about the use of data in atmospheric science, its sources, and applications. The main categories of data sets will be presented, and the main principles of statistical models as well as examples of machine learning techniques. We will discuss in more detail their use and interpretation in an air pollution context.
