Prof. Elia Psillakis at the School of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete was a speaker at Delphi Economic Forum in the panel entitled: The effect of the pandemic on the marine environment. The panel overviewed current status and discussed the immediate actions needed to address global environmental issues. The Chair of the panel was Dr Angeliki Kosmopoulou and co-panelists were Prof. G. Papatheordorou (UPatras) and Prof. N. Thomaidis (UoAthens).
The Meeting of the Delphi Economic Forum VII took place on April 6-9, 2022, and panelists are thought leaders coming from a large spectrum of areas. With the annual theme “New Realities” the Meeting aimed to explore answers to the most vexing questions of our times: How to build back better and more resilient Societies following the Pandemic crisis. How to navigate through the pitfalls of division and discontent. How to re-think deeply entrenched beliefs in Foreign Policy, Security and Economic Growth, and better prepare for an ever changing and fast-paced world.
